Experience Timeline

• 2002 – Raphy graduated as a dentist in 2002 before becoming a Certified Specialist in Orthodontics at the University of Cork. Following his qualification as a dentist, he worked at hospitals and dental clinics in a variety of specialities such as maxillofacial surgery, restorative, paediatric, community and special needs.
• 2009 – Raphy founded and led St Raphael’s Dental Practice from 2009. Here, he developed a plethora of skills in providing high-quality dental and orthodontic treatment, and became skilled at understanding his patients’ needs.
• 2018 – Raphy was awarded a Membership in Orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons (MOrth RCS Edinburgh), Edinburgh, in 2018.

Publications & International Recognition

Raphy received his Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (DClindent Orthodontics) degree from Cork University, which was supported by his thesis, “Psychosocial and physiological evaluations of orthognathic patients”. He has presented his findings at national conferences and has papers published in national and international peer-reviewed publications.
